Time Æon Foundation on local TV channel Canal Alpha

The watchmaking and art mechanics professions have taken a very important place in the economy of the Swiss Jura Mountains and have become emblematic in this region. Indeed, they have developed like nowhere else and their know-how is now recognized worldwide.

With the ambition to receive recognition from the UNESCO’s intangible cultural heritage, the Federal Office of Culture (FOC) in Berne submitted the application on March 2019. The FOC should receive the decision by the end of 2020.

As part of a report from the local TV channel Canal Alpha, David Bernard was interviewed to talk about the Time Æon Foundation projects and its mission to preserve the crafts associated with watchmaking excellence and help pass them on to new generations.
