The Time Æon Foundation attended the Salon International de la Haute Horlogerie in Geneva for the first time from 16 to 20 January 2017. It showcased the latest developments in the Naissance d’une Montre and Oscillon projects at its own stand located at the entrance to the Carré des Horlogers.
Decoration workshop, three young international watchmakers:
Students of watchmaking eager to learn the basics of certain old techniques were trained in the decoration of bridges. They touched on polishing the flanks, bevelling, straight-graining and polishing the countersinks using a bow. The workshop was led by Séverine Vitali, Michel Boulanger and Philippe Dufour.
Watch Architecture: the evolution of architectural styles in watchmaking:
In a workshop led by seasoned watch designers, students create their own architectural style and transpose it onto the Naissance d’une Montre centres.
“L’Instant de Vérité” Oscillon Tourbillon:
Time Æon Foundation showcased the first Oscillon timepiece on its stand, as well as the first sketches for the new “L’Instant de Vérité Tourbillon”. This timepiece pairs an innovative driving force with a tourbillon.
