It was with great pleasure that the Time Æon Foundation attributed the prize “Best Practical Piece” to Rob Kramer, student at the British Horological Institute (BHI). It was during the BHI Awards Day 2017, which took place in Nottinghamshire on October 28th, that Stephen Forsey awarded this brilliant student who successfully obtained the best results of his class.
The event was held during an entire day, during which many speakers talked about the BHI’s activities and its museum, and about specific watchmaking topics as well. Stephen Forsey was then invited to talk about the evolution of the tourbillon.
The BHI Council finally awarded Robert Greubel and Stephen Forsey with the “Barret Silver Medal” for their extraordinary achievement in the watchmaking industry.
